Acceptable Use & Copyright Policy
Last updated October 7, 2026
Vocnu is for translating and voicing content you have the right to use. This policy applies to everything you upload, link to or create with the Service.
You must have the rights
Only submit media you own or have permission to translate, adapt and voice: for example, because you made it, licensed it, or its license allows adaptations, as some Creative Commons licenses do. Submitting a link does not give you rights to the video. Don't use Vocnu to republish other people's films, shows, music or other work without permission.
Don't use Vocnu to
- infringe copyright, trademarks or other rights, or get around technical protection measures;
- create content that is illegal, sexually exploits minors, promotes terrorism or violence, or harasses, threatens or defames anyone;
- deceive people, for example by presenting synthetic speech as a real person's words, impersonating someone or spreading disinformation;
- process other people's personal data without a legal basis, or create content that invades someone's privacy;
- send spam, spread malware or harm the Service or other users;
- abuse free credits, for example with multiple accounts, or try to break, overload or reverse engineer the Service.
Synthetic voices
Vocnu uses its own narrator voices and does not clone the voices of people in your content. When you publish voiced content, tell your audience it uses an AI voice where the law or the platform requires it.
Reporting infringement
If you believe content processed with Vocnu infringes your rights, email support@vocnu.com with:
- the work you believe is infringed;
- where the infringing material is, such as a link or a description that lets us find it;
- your name and contact details;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use isn't authorized by the rights holder or the law;
- a statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or are authorized to act for them.
We review reports promptly, remove or disable access to infringing material, and may inform the user who submitted it. We close the accounts of repeat infringers.
Enforcement
We may refuse or stop jobs, remove content and suspend or close accounts that break this policy. Credits used for infringing jobs are not refunded. We may report illegal content to the authorities.
