How it works

Four steps. You see the price before anything starts.

  1. Add your video

Upload a video or audio file, or paste a link to a public YouTube video.

  2. Check the price

Vocnu measures the length and shows what each option costs in credits.

  3. Choose language and files

Pick one of 35 languages, a female or male voice, and the files you need.

  4. Download

Get subtitles, the voice-over audio and a finished MP4. You can close the page while it works.

What you get

Files that work on YouTube, in video editors and in any player. Choose any combination.

This is voice-over, not dubbing: one clear voice reads the translation while the original sound continues quietly underneath, the way TV documentaries do it.

  • interview.es.srt

    Translated subtitles

Timed to the speech, as SRT and VTT files. The original-language transcript is included.

  • interview.es.m4a

    Voice-over audio

The translation read over the softened original sound, balanced for streaming.

  • interview.es.mp4

    Video with voice-over

Your MP4 with the voice-over as the main audio. The original sound stays as a second track.

  • interview.es.subtitled.mp4

    Burned-in subtitles

Subtitles drawn into the picture, for platforms that don't accept subtitle files.

Questions and answers

What's the difference between voice-over and dubbing?

Voice-over keeps the original sound quietly underneath while one clear voice reads the translation, as in TV documentaries. Dubbing replaces every voice and matches the lips. Vocnu does voice-over today.

Which languages are supported?

Voice-over and subtitles in 35 languages, including English, Lithuanian, Spanish, German, French, Polish, Ukrainian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic and Hindi. The spoken language of your video is detected automatically.

How long does it take?

Usually about as long as the video itself, sometimes less. You can close the page and come back; the result waits in your account.

Can I use a YouTube link?

Yes, for public videos you own or have permission to use. If YouTube doesn't let our servers download a video, the job stops without charge and you can upload the file instead.

Do I need the rights to the video?

Yes. Only process content you own or are allowed to translate and adapt. Read the Acceptable Use & Copyright Policy.

What happens if something goes wrong?

Credits are only charged when a job finishes. If it fails, the reserved credits go back to your balance automatically.

How long do you keep my files?

Uploads are deleted after 7 days and finished files after 30 days. Download what you need before then.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. You can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase. See the Refund Policy.

How do payments work?

Paddle runs the checkout as our reseller and Merchant of Record. It handles payment, invoices and taxes, and accepts cards and many local payment methods.

Which files can I upload?

Common video and audio formats such as MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, MP3, M4A and WAV, up to 4 hours long.
